Earlier this week, the Service was advised that Firefighter Matthew Lee had tragically been killed in a traffic accident on his way home from work.
“Matthew had worked as an on-call Firefighter at Wyre Forest for the last five years and was a well known and respected member of the Wyre Forest team,” said Chief Fire Officer Jon Pryce.
“Our thoughts and condolences go to his family, friends and colleagues who I am sure are finding it very difficult coming to terms with this tragic loss.”
