Our HWFRS firefighter taster sessions were thrown into the spotlight thanks to BBC Hereford & Worcester’s roving reporter Nina Das Gupta.
Nina sportingly tackled a range of firefighter tasks at Malvern Fire Station as well as talking to Station Commander Deb Davies and Watch Commander Steph Cooling about life in the Service.
It went out on air as a series of entertaining updates during the radio station’s popular mid-morning show presented by Malcolm Boyden.

There were two taster sessions at Malvern Fire Station last Saturday.
They will support the next wholetime recruitment campaign which launches on 10 March.
