Kidderminster has a population of approximately 55,000 residents in a mainly urban and industrial setting.
Kidderminster Fire Station is made up of both wholetime firefighters and on-call firefighters. The on-call firefighters work part-time, responding to fire calls in the area when needed.
The station is equipped with two Scania fire engines and also accommodates Wyre Forest Severn Area Rescue Association.
As water first responders, the crew are able to perform rescues and searches in shallow waters or flooded areas. The high volume pumps based at the station also provide support in mitigating the effects of flooding or creating sustainable water supplies at incidents.
On-call training nights are held at the Fire Station every Thursday commencing at 6:30pm.
