"Ewyas Harold Fire Station covers an area of approximately 70 square miles, which is predominately rural with large areas of farmland. The station ground is close to the Welsh border which often means they work closely with other stations over the border into Wales. The Station is known for its spotless, gleaming fire engine and its previous Watch Commander who dedicated an astounding 45 years to the fire service and supporting local communities."

Ewyas Harold Fire Station covers an area of approximately 70 square miles, which is predominately rural with large areas of farmland. The station is situated within the Golden Valley, which is to the south of the station ground, and is bordered by the Black Mountains.
The station ground is close to the Welsh border and Ewyas Harold Fire Station works closely with other stations over the border.
Ewyas Harold Fire Station is an on-call fire station, so is staffed solely by on-call firefighters, who respond to emergency calls whenever they are needed.
The station has a Scania fire engine, which is a first-line attack engine, carrying a crew of up to six firefighters along with firefighting and rescue equipment.
On-call drill nights are held at the Fire Station every Monday commencing at 7:00pm.
