256 10 23 – Welfare Provisions (October 2023)

Date of Request

October 23

Request

Dear Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service,

I am working on a project which is looking at the welfare provisions at incidents and specifically different types of vehicles. I wanted to know if you might be able to provide me with some information on what provisions your service has and answer a few questions? It will help us to shape the way our service delivers welfare provisions at operational incidents.

  • What welfare provisions at operational incidents do you have within your service?
  • Do you have a dedicated welfare vehicle?
  • If you do have a dedicated welfare vehicle, could you tell me what it carries and would you be able to send me a few photos of your welfare vehicle?
  • Is your welfare vehicle part of a Pre Determined Attendance or is it on request only?
  • Who crews your welfare vehicle?
  • On average, how many times does your welfare vehicle get mobilised a year?
  • Do you feel your welfare provisions work well?
  • If you could change any of your welfare provisions, what would you change?

Thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind Regards,

Response
