Good afternoon,
I’m a political reporter from … and I’m looking into what appears to be a significant shortfall in employer NICs grants in the latest local authority settlements for fire authorities. I believe this could be a shortfall of about 50% per fire authority.
Please can you confirm Hereford and Worcester fire authority’s expected shortfall from the £0.3m allocation in the 2025/26 Employer NICs grant?
